Sub: Nuisance caused by roadside vendors
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the authorities to the nuisance created by roadside vendors in our locality.
The vendors occupy pavements and parking areas, causing great inconvenience to pedestrians and motorists. People are forced to walk on the roads, which often leads to traffic congestion and accidents. The parking zones meant for vehicles are also blocked, making it difficult for the public to park their vehicles properly.
Though street vending is a source of livelihood for many, proper regulation is necessary to maintain public convenience and road safety. I request the concerned authorities to take immediate steps to relocate the vendors to designated areas and clear the pavements and parking spaces.
I hope you will publish this letter in your newspaper to create awareness and prompt quick action.
